Despite all the problems in our world, we are very fortunate in that technology is continually developing and is having a very positive impact on peoples’ lives. So, I thought I’d share with you a couple of the exciting disability related technology stories that have been making headlines in the news recently.
As you may know, the Aidis Trust has been running a project called Everyone Can Game, which aims to help disabled people to become involved in gaming. As a part of which, there have been gaming days to get disabled children playing games in an accessible way. Well, I thought it might be a good opportunity to catch up on how things are going as well as talk all things gaming with one of the project’s volunteers.

On 4 January 1809, Louis Braille the man who created Braille was born. So, I thought it would be a good opportunity to talk about the future of Braille, to celebrate the anniversary being this month.
His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent visited The Aidis Trust yesterday (Monday 17th October 2016) to see how it provides vital support for disabled people of all ages, enabling them to benefit from and be empowered by the latest computing technologies.
